A Blast From my Past!
The photos below were all taken of the Reedsburg High School Marching Band. This past summer, word leaked out that I used to be in colorguard. Soon after, I received a call from the band director asking for my help in the instruction area. Of course I couldn't say no, and I have to say, for me it was quite exciting getting back to something I loved doing so much. I just wasn't prepared for teenage girls:) If this is what I have to look forward to with my own girls....UGH!!!!! They're very nice girls, but very much a teenage girl. The program here, is not as disciplined as the one I was a part of, so I am having to be very patient, but at times my patience wore thin. I came in at a time when alot of routines had already been set, but next year, things will be MUCH different. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On Vacation Again

My sister Kimi came to visit again the first part of September. She had to use up a weeks vacation or she would lose it, so she decided to hang out in Wisconsin again. Now I don't know why, but every time she visits, she always wants to go fishing, and every time we catch absolutely nothing. (except something about the size of a guppy). She doesn't seem to mind and Camryn just loves to pet the little baby fish like she's petting a cat. Anyway, we had a nice visit and she and my mom took some time to also help Caitlyn paint and redo her bedroom. Thanks Mimi! 

Papa is giving Camryn some "Words of Wisdom" on how to catch the BIG ONE!  

Caitlyn became bored on this fishing trip and decided to make her own "homemade" fishing pole. Believe it or not, she caught a fish on her first cast into the water. She takes after her Nana, who can make anything out of just about anything! 

Camryn would rather play with Papa's plastic fish. Which one has a better fish face?

Camryn's Best Friend Gabby!

This is Camryn's best friend Gabby! Last year our good friend Kelly took over the duties of daycare for these two girls, and we couldn't have been more grateful. This year Kelly has her plate quite full and both girls went to new daycares. Neither one of them had seen each other all summer. As I wrote before, we were having real troubles with Camryn at her new daycare, and the first week of school Gabby's mom e-mailed to let me know they were having the same troubles with Gabby. Long story short.... they ended up putting Gabby in the same daycare as Camryn, and you have never seen two happier girls then them:) They have been glued together ever since and no more tears for either of them.
