Camryn's 5th Birthday
November 2008

Camryn wanted a Monkey party this year!
My sister and her husband were able to be here again
this year which is always fun. We also had several adults over,
Eric, Greg, Sarah,Scott & Liz, Nana & papa, & my grandma and grandpa.
Camryn invited 5 other little girls (her friends from school).
It turned out to be a nasty day, weather wise, and we were hit
with the first big winter storm and 2 of her friends couldn't get
to the party because of the road conditions. To top it off, 2 others ended up
with the flu, so only 1 little girl showed up, Kayla. We were so glad that
she came, because it was heartbreaking to see Camryn so sad about
her party and no one was coming. Anyway, fun was still
had by all!

More Birthday Pics...
My sister Kimi (or Mimi as she is more commonly known) getting in
on the fun of pinning the banana on the monkey

I brought some paper home from school to make a tree for the monkey
party. What I had in mind wasn't quite as elaborate as what Sonny and
Randy came up with. They got very creative and ended up with quite the
tree, with vines, monkeys and bananas!
Mike & Becky's Wedding
November 2008

Sonny performed this wedding for our friends Mike & Becky.
Caitlyn and Camryn were also in the wedding, which is where we
had our good friend Greg take some nice family photos since we were all dressed up.
(note the Christmas card you all received:)

Camryn's favorite thing to do at ALL weddings, is dance!
(see Greg & Sarah's Blog for video of "Crazy Camryn" dancing)
Greg can get her to do anything!

A Day at the Park With Mom!
October 2008

Cam & I spent a nice Fall day at Webb Park playing on the playground
and playing in the leaves.

Reedsburg Area High School Marching Band & Colorguard

This was my 3rd year coaching the high school colorguard.
I just called this year a "REBUILDING" year. I had a small group
this year and many beginners. Although many of them had never
touched a flag before, they caught on quick and did better than I thought
they would do, and I was very proud of how hard they tried.

Reedsburg Beaver Football
Homecoming Game
September 2008

We went to many more football games this year, as our
team did very well and went all the way to state! (see Sarah's
Blog for pictures of state game).

Homecoming Parade
September 2008

This is Caitlyn & her friend Tommi

Sonny was asked to drive his car in the parade this year,
so he took Camryn out of school early and did the parade thing

I coached the colorguard again this year
Homecoming Festivities!
September 2008

Every year during homecoming at the high school, Sonny's
boys soccer team tries to toilet paper our house. They don't usually
do a very good job because we always hear them and catch them
in the act, but this year, we were home and clueless to the toilet
paper party happening in our yard and they nailed us without us knowing it
So I finally saw the cutest girls birthday party ever!
Camryn went to her best friend's 5th birthday party.
It was a real tea party, with real china and everything.
I have to say, it was the most adorable thing I have ever seen.
Check out the great tea pot cake:)

Youth Soccer

Sonny coached the 4 & 5 year olds this year, so Camryn got
to play on his team!

Caitlyn attempted soccer again after about 5 years of not playing.
Their team "The Fireballs" did very well, although she spent more
time worrying about her hair:) Just kidding, she actually scored 3 goals on the season.

Sonny was a very happy dad this year as both girls decided
to play soccer. His favorite moment was when they both were
getting dressed and they needed help lacing up their cleats. He was
just glad not to see tights and ballet shoes, even if for only a short while.
